Hangin' with the neighbors

Caleb, Nicholas, and Charles play so well together. Tori and Cannon play too well together. Eric had drag them out from under the bed a couple of times last night. What are we going to do with her. A Mother House in Nome, Alaska is going to be in her near future.

I would publish pictures of us adults but really this bottle tells the whole story. This is Eric's fraternity drink and VERY evil. Darn it if he did not find it at the local liquor store.
Not feeling well this am. But had a great time last night. These are good people. And they are good to us. Don't know if they will forgive us for how they may feel this am yet. :-)

Fort Worth TX Zoo

This was a really kid friendly zoo. Lots to do and see. We were told it was much better than the Dallas Zoo so... if you ever have a choice :-)

Six Flags Over Texas!!!

Daddy took Nicholas and Tori to Six Flags while Mommy got to go shopping all day all by herself. I needed to get clothes for my new job of course! AND it was tax free weekend in Texas so... even better!

I got the job! I'll be working part-time as a medical social worker at the local hospital. I went in there telling them I am only willing to work while my children are in school. They created a PRN (as needed) position for me. I am SSSOOOOOO excited! I start next month. YEAHH!!

Back to school (and Work?)

The kids and I had a BIG day today!! Nicholas and Tori had their first day back to school. Nicholas is officially now a 3rd grader and Tori is officially a 1st grader. Their first day went very well. No major traumas. Both are happy with their classes and teachers. A wonderful start for them!
Mommy is trying to find a job that will allow her to work in her field, part time, during the school day. SO! I had an interview today that went well. I'm REALLY excited about getting back to work while still being available to the kids. Too good to be true? We shall see!!! How can they NOT hire me!!! I SO had my game face on. :-) I'll keep you posted!!

Rodeo

Eric took the kids to Lawton's 70th Annual Rodeo. A local tradition this Mom was not interested in witnessing. Eric said he saw on'y one other guy there with shorts and sandles on. :-)

British Soccer Camp

On the last day of camp the kids get to show their team spirit for the country they play for in the world cup. Tori was on Team Hungary and Nicholas was on Team Bosnia. They have to learn about their country and get decked out in it's colors.

Can't forget Tori's team picture!!!

Brigade Organizational Day

Melting in the 108 degree Oklahoma heat but we're still smiling, kinda!
For those of you non-military... Organizational Day is your run-of-the-mill forced fun. This was well organized though despite the fact that it was last minute.

No army function would be complete without a Howitzer bouncy!

Dunking Daddy!

Nicholas was top bidder to dunk his Daddy for a fundraiser. Of course Mommie helped him out because I was holding Eric's wallet.

Tori dunking a soldier

Tori's version of helping the cause.. running up and just smacking the target.

My monkeys

Tori can not resist a good face painting!

Nicholas and Tori sitting in front of Daddy's sign!

Tori got a swollen eye from getting too rough in the bouncy (go figure) so to distract her from her "trauma" mika the Medic showed her how to turn a latex glove into a rooster hat. Giggles all 'round followed up with ice on the eye. We are surrounded by good people I tell ya.
