Our neighbors went all out to celebrate the 4th. They shared their fireworks and sparklers with our kids. I get so nervous watching kids around explosives with parents who have been drinking! Call me crazy but I can't figure out why we do this!!! I keep picturing our dear friend Tom's 9 1/2 fingers. No one lost a digit though and a good time was had by all (mostly they had a good time making fun of my flinching). I know you can picture this Tracy!!!!

Happy 4th of July! We joined in for the celebrations on the fort. Uncle Sam was there as you can see! A cannon was fired for every state and when the name of your state was called out you were encouraged to cheer. Eric cheered for PA, I cheered for NJ, Nicholas cheered for WA, and Tori could not understand why Canada was not called out. So we had her cheer for KS. :-) It was a nice start to our 4th. Now for neighborhood relaxation and fun. Beer may be involved.
