Sock Hop

We went to the 6th annual Xavier Sock Hop this past weekend!
Nick is too cool for school.
We actually lost him at the dance. It turns out he has a lot of staying power while playing hide-and-seek with his friends. He was under a table for at least 15 minutes. Add to it every other little boy running around had a slicked-back military cut, white t-shirt, and jeans on as well.
I think Eric earned a few more gray hairs between that and the kissing going on on the dance floor!

Sock Hop

Where does she get these poses!!!!!

Sock Hop

Getting ready for the Sock Hop! Tori is too cool for a poodle (the little minx). Rana let us borrow this adorable little halloween costume... and it's a good thing. All her friends were in poodle skirts and I would not have heard the end of it!

Sock Hop

The "Pink Lady" and her Posse...
Tori, Ellie, and Kelcey.
Heaven help the kindergarden teacher who might have these three girls in her class!

Sock Hop

Nicholas and Hannah were not interested in the dance floor for some reason. They were too busy chasing each other. Lord help me.

Sock Hop

Yes Tori was dancing with an older man. Even convinced him to kiss her and would not settle for a kiss on the cheek. OK Moms and Dads of little girls... how do we handle this one?!? We are in need of advice!
Hey!, maybe this is why Tori is home from school for the second day with a high fever!

Winter Fun

I have to admit I was not too happy about having to go outside (Eric was TDY so it fell to me to play with the kids in this winter wonderland) but once we suited up and got out there we had so much fun! Here is Nick and Tori with neighbors proudly posing with thier new friend made of snow.

Winter fun

We got the perfect amount of snow for seigh riding, fort building, and snowman making (oh and snowbal makin' too!). Here are Nicholas and Tori right behind our home.

Paters

We were blessed to see every one of our siblings. Here is Mom Pater with her Children...
Dave, Joe, Michael, Ralph (AKA Buff), Mary, Mom, lisa, Eric, Melissa, and Sue.

Pater Cousins

Since we were only a 1 day drive away from the Paters we visited them as well! It had been way too long since our last visit. Here is Grammy with all her grandchildren! A wonderful event! From Left to right...
Michael James, Victoria, Laura, Lizzie, Stephen, Jacob, Emily, Michael Arthur, Nicholas, Matthew, and Jackie. How many military kids get to see ALL their cousins like this!! We feel fortunate our kids get to establish memories with thier extended family. We had a blast Paters!
